My name is Patrick Bohn, and I am the founder and owner of Net-Build GmbH – a company specializing in innovative IT solutions and hosting services. My journey began in Sitterswald, a small, picturesque village in Saarland, Germany, where I grew up and attended elementary school. Sitterswald is known for its rural charm, its proximity to France, and a strong sense of community that shaped my early years.
After elementary school, I continued my education at a secondary school in Kleinblittersdorf, another charming town along the Saar River with a rich history. During this time, I not only developed my passion for technology but also started acquiring the practical skills that would later define my career.
Following school, I pursued an apprenticeship as a heating technician, mastering the foundations of a challenging craft. But I always aimed higher: while running my own business, I completed my master craftsman certification in heating systems. Balancing my growing business and my education wasn’t always easy, but it taught me discipline and the importance of having a clear vision.
Despite my roots in craftsmanship, my fascination with technology never faded. From the moment I started working with my first Commodore C16, I’ve been captivated by the transformative power of technology. This passion ultimately led to the founding of Net-Build GmbH in 1998. Today, I manage a dedicated data center and work on projects that push the boundaries of artificial intelligence and IT innovation.
Beyond my professional pursuits, I have a range of hobbies that keep me energized and inspired. Whether I’m enjoying the freedom of riding my motorcycle, sharpening my focus in a game of billiards, or experimenting with music production, I’m always exploring new ways to channel my creativity. I’m also an avid fan of classic adventure games like Monkey Island and Indiana Jones, which continue to inspire my love for storytelling and innovative thinking.
